Is every hat and headband the same?
Since all we make is hand-made you'll find variations. We love the unique.
How can the crochet hats fit toddlers to adults?
Each is made of cotton and very stretchable. I often borrow my 1-year-old daughter's and I'm 35. The hats are also very popular with 8-14 year olds.
What do you use on your hats and headbands?
We pride ourselves on creating artsy, vintage like designs. Embellishments range from sparkly gems, to vintage fabric, printed ribbon, chiffon flowers and bows, silk flowers, and crystals for a true sparkle.
How do you attach flowers and gems?
Some are sewn and others attached with a non-toxic glue.
How do I care for my crochet cap?
Treat it like a favorite sweater. Tuck pulls, don't cut. Or, dab pull very lightly with a clear fabric glue. Spot clean gently with soap and cold water.
What about cotton knit hats for infants?
Also best to spot clean with cold water.
Can I get a custom order?
Yes! If you just got a favorite outfit and need the perfect hat just ask. I often can make different combinations of colors.
What about small parts?
These are not toys and should not be chewed. It's best to supervise your child, particularly under 5, watch for small parts.
What about lead safety standards? Brooches are lead compliant, but usually not recommended for under 12 (pins are removed). Crystals are available lead free.
How long does it take to ship?
We do our best to fill orders 1 to 2 days after payment is received. Standard shipping usually takes 3-5 days.
